November 18, 2005
Hi there. A quick heads up on The GB's doings for the remainder of 2005. The good new is that there are at least 2 more 2005 gigs soon to be announced. Check out our gigs page for details. No doubt our massive media machine will kick into gear and announce them to the world in due course. (in other words get your name on our mailing list).
Another happy yarn is that we are gonna cut another little EP with our new band this month. It will be an acoustic ballad based project designed to get all the new boys in the studio and feeling comfy prior to pre recording for the album. It will be stripped right back and cut in one day of 'nomuckinabout' recording with our mate Marty. The songs although off cuts from the upcoming album list have scrubbed up great.
The EP seems to be wearing well as sales over the internet have being going great. There probably will be only one press of the debut EP, so please flick a few under this years Christmas tree.
The game plan for 2006 is taking shape and includes some enormous surprises, as well as lots of beach bumbled stubby chinking frivolity! Thanks for checking in on us and thanks for supporting developing independent music outfits. We'll see you at the pub or our next gig, or both.
